Bio
Formed 2020 around the foundations that built the most powerful genres of extreme metal, Empty Throne is a whirlwind of Black, Thrash and Death Metal fused into a unique and refreshing formula. Old line-up featured Mike Smith on drums (ex Suffocation etc) and Jack Owen on guitar (Cannibal Corpse, Deicide etc).
Now the line-up have Mike Pardi (guitar) Draconis, ex Possessed and gabe Seeber (drums) kennedy Veil, Abbath etc.And Jason Ellsworth (bass) angerot. Music & lyrics and band concept is made by CR Petit (vocals) from Angerot.
And in 2024 the band signs to swedish label Downfall Records to release debut Full-lenght album -“Unholy”.
The album contains 6 strong songs and +40 minutes of the best Darkened Death/Thrash-Metal.
“Unholy” album will be available on CD/LP+DIGITAL.
